Taking some time each week to practice yoga can offer us a chance to re-connect with our bodies and relax the mind. Within each class Liz teaches yoga postures (asanas), breathing (pranayama) and relaxation/meditation.
Classes are small and friendly in a lovely, light-filled home studio in Lynton Gardens, Bounds Green, N11 2NN.
One to One Yoga Classes for one or two people. These classes are ideal if you wish to have more flexibility on when you wish to enjoy a yoga class, have an injury or wish to have an individually tailored lesson. For a one hour class, the cost is £25.
Chair Yoga Liz runs a Chair Yoga Class on Tuesdays from 10am to 11am. Chair yoga is an excellent way to relax, stretch and enjoy yoga. It includes flow yoga, strengthening and stretching poses, breathing practice and relaxation/meditation. It’s suitable for everyone whether you have an injury, health condition or simply wish to enjoy a gentler class. Cost – 6 classes for £50.
What do I Need to Know?
Mats and props are provided though you are welcome to bring your own. Wear loose, comfortable clothing. It’s best to practice yoga on a stomach that’s not too full!
Many people think they are too stiff to do yoga. However, in each posture, Liz gives different stages of difficulty so you can choose the level which feels right for you. By working in this way, flexibility and stamina will naturally improve.
